The goal of the School Finance Research Collaborative Public Engagement Committee is to create awareness and generate support for a more equitable school funding system. Leaders of the state’s largest education employee and management associations are joined together through this committee and its work to advocate for a new school funding system that meets the needs of each student, and gives all students the opportunity to meet Michigan’s rigorous proficiency standards and be well prepared for college and careers.
